Prior to bringing your pet to Illiana Veterinary Hospital for an appointment, please review our hospital policies below. Feel free to call us at (708) 331-4640 with any questions or concerns.
In the Office
For their own safety and the safety of others, pets should be controlled. Please keep dogs on a leash and cats in a cage or carrier. If you have an aggressive pet or one difficult to control, please let us know ahead of time so that we can help make your visit go more smoothly.
Our office hours are posted. Please call during these times to schedule an appointment. For your first visit, please bring previous records with you (or have them faxed). If you aren't able to keep an appointment, please call to cancel/reschedule.
Full payment is due at the time of services. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit.
Pet Prescription Medications
An initial office exam is required for our veterinarians to prescribe appropriate medications. We cannot act as a pharmacy for a diagnosis made or prescription written elsewhere.
Also, for pets on long-term medications, an exam is required at least yearly to ensure that the pet is healthy and responding well to medications. Additional monitoring may also be required.
Privacy and Confidentiality
We will not give out medical information about your pet without your permission.
